First Copywriting Lesson

Apart from losing my way to the copywriting venue and rushing while i munch on my favourite "polo bau", everything was great-I love the course! :) The lecturer who worked as copywriter in an Ad agency for 18 yrs ( and that was his first job!) shared about "the cutting edge advertising". The talk focused on developing creative strategies and looking at various types of ideas used in advertisements. i just love some quirky and humourous ads that he showed ..makes me impressed and driven to produce something like that. imagine if i worked in an Ad agency..how fun!! yup, fat chance considering im still HERE. well, dreaming is always nice... until reality falls in place. hahaa. The fellow classmates there were a tad bit too serious and might appear a little weird. see, there goes my chance of making new friends. boohooo! alright gotta stop writing and rush down to my mom's place to help out. Coolie in action. sian.

A cheeky incident

Kids these days are getting more and more cheeky. if they knew how old i am, they would probably think twice about flirting. ha.

On sat, i went to the Gub (at bugis) with my sis to have a look. we went straight to the 6th level, it was really small and most shops were still closed around 12 noon. i was approached by guy A to donate money to some charity thingy. A minimum of $10 is required for that donation so of course i declined. sis got a call from her friend, so we waited for the lift to get down to the ground level. Guy B came and approached my sis for donation, sis wanted to give $2 and i told her no..have to donate at least $10. so she declined as well. As we entered the lift, both guy A & B entered as well. i hit the level 1 button.

Guy B: Miss, can you press 5th level for me? thanks.
I pressed 5. stood at the corner, leaning against the lift.

Guy B looking at me: I'm so tired...can you give me a hug?
he opened his arms..
i gave a small laugh. sis laughed. guy A still rather motionless.

Guy B : actually, a kiss will be good too.
he walked towards me and stood right in front of me. for that few seconds he moved even closer and just stared at me, hoping to get a kiss?? he moved so close to my face and i was too stunned for words that i tried to move backwards but there's no backwards cos i was already at a corner of the lift. i gave him a what-the-hell-u-doing look and thankfully the door opened at 5th floor.

Guy B grinned: im joking , don't be scared.
both guy A & B walked out of the lift.

Me and sis looked at each other and laughed. what was that all about?!
