Paul: "Hey, y reject my dinner treat..not gd la u.."

Me: "aiya, I got appointment with my department pple already..."

Paul:"hahaa..what's ur no. give me leh. we keep in touch."

I keyed in his no. and gave a miss call.

Paul:"u sure u got my no. or not? give me ur hp, i call n make sure its ringing."

He listens to my hp and hangs up after hearing the ringing tone.

I bid gdbye and went off.

2hrs later, while having dinner with my colleagues, the phone rang. it was Paul.

Trail of thoughts

My desk is 80% cleared, my thank-you email is completed, the step-by step manual for the next person is also done. indeed 2yrs just slip by unknowingly. To leave is like being able to breath fresh air for the first time. For good or worse, i wouldnt know, unless i explore. so im just crossing my fingers.

Bought 2 boxes of chocolates during the weekend. Each box holds 70 pcs of choc n while i was adding the recipients in the email, i realized i worked with over 100 staff in WN. n i have not included those whom i've briefly worked with! errr..dont think the chocs be sufficient. looking back, i think its a good opportunity to have worked here though the people do irritate me at times. but well, a job's a job.

These weeks have been filled with farewell lunches and dinners. i so gonna be fat b4 i start my new job. i think i will probably take up classes in Amore and date my sec friends to accompany me. (they are going-to-be brides so they need to go on a diet! hahaaa)

Oh did i mention abt HCM-VIETNAM? hehee. it reminds me alot of the rural areas in Bangkok. But the vietnamese are more pleasant-looking and the cab drivers do not pounce on tourists upon arrival. overall, it was ok only, dont think i will go there again though.

HCM in a nutshell :
- I went to tailor place near ben thanh market to do blouses ( i paid $39 for 2 tops!! cheap cheap)
- Bought many embroidered pouches, a bag and adidas stuff.
- Ate at a superb seafood restaurant and did a body massage at Golden Lotus.
- Did pedicure & manicure but i thought the standard's lousy.
- Cuchi tunnel. this is hell. i had to CRAWL thru a super duper narrow and dark tunnel that's 5-metre long! i will always rem HCM for the agony i had to go thru. im glad i got out alive. for awhile, i really thought i would faint from the suffocation. i really wonder how the vietnamese survived in that hole for so many years...or perhaps im just too blessed. ;p
