Sweet Delight

Monday's dinner at Equinox was such a sweet delight! My goodness, it serves the FINEST fusion food i have ever eaten in my life. Really. I love the cream of chicken soup the best. Its thick, sweet, creamy base makes a perfect combination with slightly roasted macadamia nuts (whole) sprinkled all over it. Super yummy~ The sweetest part was we (abt 80 pax) had a Tiffany & Co gift EACH. WOW. Check out my first Tiffany & Co item. It's a lovely jewellery box! :) I'm so glad to be part of the sales & marketing team to enjoy this sweet delight. ;p

Overloaded...with food

So today was Crystal Jade, tomorrow is Orchard Grand Court and next mon, Equinox.

last week was Sun with Moon and Sanur the week before. And there was also Sabai (fantastic n ex thai food at taka), Lei Garden, Marina Mandarin and Keyaki ( pan pac.hotel) in previous weeks......

with all these meals, who am i kidding if im not gaining weight? FAT, FAT, FAT. :S

Well, at least i can console myself that i never had to pay for any of the meals. They are treats by colleagues, boss, customer-lunch, external courses and events. I cannot refuse the meals even if i wanted to. And my friends' bdays are coming up one by one -which means more dining and eating. OMG. what am i going to do with the additional "spare tyres" on my waist? shucks!

On the brighter side, i'm thankful that i love my job despite seeing people leave. i do love the challanges and i feel important. :) i'm thankful i get to meet my 2 younger buddies who makes me laugh and i'm thankful i got a good pay to make my parents proud of me. i'm thankful i can get along with my boss and other colleagues. Now, i feel good..... though i'm still fat. hahaa

Updates for august

Boy, i feel damn tired but it's all good. The amore class i went is really fun. It's called CardioLatino, a dance workout program that combines Latin dances with aerobic moves. Having fun and burning calories at the same time is wonderful! The only complain i have is the hassle of bringing my sports shoes and clothes to change.

I smell really gd now after applying the Pear Glace body cream from Victoria's Secret. It's a moisturizing cream with ingredients like avocado, sweet almond, and calendula oils. Smells fresh and sweet. Just like a perfume. Thanks to Ah ni who bought it from the States. =)

Work has been hectic and that's why i'm not on msn anymore. I've decided to ditch msn to concentrate on my work. So the new sales manager is on board and im handling his stuff over to him. Hopefully, he can "walk on his own" and won't bother me too much so i can do my own stuff. haha.

Latest updates: i'm going to China on 14th -17th Oct for our regional sales meeting. And i'm going to Bangkok (personal trip) with some younger colleagues on 1st Nov. My blur young colleague told us the flight on 1st Nov was 630pm and i found out yesterday that the flight was 630am... -___-"

With a few strings of events, I realised what HL meant when she mentioned she was "babysitting" her younger ex-colleagues. i think i am in the same situation. Though my young colleagues are only 1 or 2 years younger than me, they just seem a little immature?...i can't explain. They are pretty looking and friendly gals but can be temperamental and easily hurt at times. And that, i perceive as a lack of maturity. They seem to be dependent on me and that's why i feel like a "babysitter".. im not too sure if going bangkok with them is a good idea. just crossing my fingers.we'll see.
